Lees Alcohol
Product obtained from distilling the lees of the wine.

Lees / Bottoms
Solid materials and must and wine sediments which settle on the bottom of containers (casks, vats etc.) in a slimy manner and are seperable from the liquid.

Lactic Fermentation
Transformation of sugars in musts and wines into lactic acid.

Light Red
Low-key red colour.

Limpid
Indicates a wine without floating particles and totally free from any trace of cloudiness. It is absolutely transparent.
